Spotlessly clean place in functional style with all necessary facilities. Excellent area, central location very close to the centre of town, the restaurant, and Town. 5 minutes walk from The Box.

The location was perfect, just across from the train station which was super handy. The room was big and comfy, and omg the bathroom was gigantic! The staff were really nice and helped me since i arrived late.
But the carpet in the hallways was pretty scruffy and stained, which kinda let down the vibe. The breakfast service was really slow, had to wait ages for my food.

The good nature of the gentleman who signed me in and seemed generally to be in charge.
Terrible chairs in the subsidary dining area. Soggy carrots and beans.

Simon was lovely and accomodated us well ! The hotel was in a great location and did us great for what were needing .
Room was a little grubby in places dirty cups shower wasnt cleaned great .

Great stay with amazing breakfast!
The breakfast was HUGE, with everything from porridge to a full English, perfect for hungry travelers like us. Staff were super friendly. The only thing was our room felt a bit small. Could use some more space for luggage. Otherwise, loved the location near all the cool spots!

It is a very old building, but decent and in a great location!
It is an old place but that makes it interesting. If you want the Ritz, stay at the Ritz.
